Las Vegas Sun sports reporters Ray Brewer and Case Keefer are back for another high school football discussion. They look at all the matchups this week and spend extra time on the Southeast, which begins league play this week.

Arbor View High junior quarterback Henry Hoffend passed for 145 yards and two touchdowns Friday a 56-12 victory against visiting Mojave.

Hoffend threw scoring strikes to Roderick Eason and Steve Burns, leading Arbor View (3-1, 2-1 Northwest) to a homecoming-game victory.

“The kids play real well. They had a great week of practice and came out and executed,” Arbor View coach Dan Barnson said.

Donnie Gaskin added two rushing touchdowns for Arbor View, and Christian Rodriquez also scored a touchdown.

Mojave (0-3) is still searching for its first win.
