Jersey Shore’ cast takes Las Vegas by storm

Jersey Shore-MTV

MTV

MTV’s Jersey Shore is set in Italy for Season 4, which premieres Thursday, Aug. 4, 2011.

Calling “Jersey Shore” fans! If watching a weekly episode of “Jersey Shore” doesn’t fulfill your guilty pleasure, come to Vegas! Las Vegas nightclubs have been dishing out lots of cash for appearances by cast members. Clubs and nightlife management groups won’t disclose what they pay for appearances, but the cost of expenses for the combined group in the past month is rumored to be hundreds of thousands of dollars. Their never-ending presence is so evident, Sun columnist J. Patrick Coolican suggested they film a season here, and we couldn’t agree more. Here’s a look at the cast’s fist-pumping appearances on or near the Strip since MTV began airing Season 4:

      Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi

The pint-size 4-foot-9 guidette spent Aug. 20 under the sun at MGM Grand’s Wet Republic, then headed to the Luxor to host an evening at LAX. Boyfriend Jionni LaValle joined her while she drank and sunbathed by the pool all day, then danced the night away. According to celebrity journalist Robin Leach, while partying at LAX they joked of a possible quickie Vegas-style wedding. Snooki got on the mic and said, “Jionni and I are very happy. We might even have to get married in Vegas. Just kidding!” The happy couple returned Labor Day weekend and partied at Pure nightclub at Caesars Palace and attended DJ Tiesto’s sold-out show at Wet Republic.

      Paul “DJ Pauly D’’ DelVecchio

Palms and the N9NE Group announced this year Pauly D had joined their lineup as a resident DJ at their venues. Following the wrap of Seasons 4 and 5 in early August, he has made regular appearances at Rain and the Palms Pool & Bungalows. He hosted the lingerie party Midsummer Night’s Dream, which is inspired by Hugh Hefner’s exclusive Playboy Mansion party. Pauly took a short hiatus to open for Britney Spears on her Femme Fatale Tour before returning to Las Vegas for Labor Day weekend.

      Jenni “JWoww” Farley

Jenni “JWoww” Farley hosted a night out at Pure at Caesars Palace on Aug. 26. She and her boyfriend Roger Mathews spent a week in Las Vegas following her hosting duties. They were spotted at The Joint at the Hard Rock Hotel for the Linkin Park concert and at the Luxor exploring “Bodies ... The Exhibition.”

      Mike “The Situation’’ Sorrentino

Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino was in town Aug. 13 at Sugar Factory American Brasserie, then hosted at the adjoining Chateau nightclub, both at Paris Las Vegas. Accompanied by several family members, he threw a surprise birthday party for his younger sister, Melissa, who turned 24 the following day. The Situation returned Labor Day weekend and partied with his brothers Mark and Frank at LAX at Luxor.

      Ronnie Ortiz-Magro

Ronnie took in the party scene at Hard Rock Hotel, hosting the Rehab pool party on Aug. 21. Sans his on-again, off-again girlfriend, Sammi “Sweetheart” Giancola, female fans lined up for a photo-op with the shirtless and tattooed reality TV star.

      Sammi “Sweetheart” Giancola

Sammi “Sweetheart” Giancola hosted at Gallery nightclub at Paris on Sept. 2. Accompanied by her sisters, Nikki and Rachel, she wore a vintage black and lace dress and sported long hair extensions. When asked about her relationship status, she replied, “Yes, I’m in a relationship — with the typical guy I’m used to, if you know what I mean.” Other weekend events included a bikini contest at the Pleasure Pool at Planet Hollywood. Sammi was a guest judge along with the Gazillionaire and Penny Pibbets of “Absinthe.”

Vinny Guadagnino and Deena Nicole Cortese

Vinny and Deena haven’t hosted in Las Vegas since Season 4 aired. Deena was scheduled to host with Sammi at Gallery nightclub on Sept. 2, but she was a no-show.
