Arbor View finishes regular season with big win against Faith Lutheran

Arbor View High closed the regular season Thursday with a 65-6 victory against Faith Lutheran.

Roderick Eason carried the ball four times with 81 yards and three touchdowns, while Donnie Gaskin had seven carries for 99 yards and a touchdown. In total, six different Arbor View players scored.

One week after being blown out by Bishop Gorman, Arbor View was able to bounce back with an easy win. Arbor View took the game late with Gorman, filling after Western's forfeit. Looking back, Aggies coach Dan Barnson had no regrets for taking the game.

“The goal for our program is to go out and play the best to make us better,” Barnson said.

Henry Hoffend and a 56-yard touchdown run for the Aggies, which will host Bonanza next week in the Sunset Regional quarterfinals.

Faith Lutheran season ends with two victories.
