Locals who want to try out the new express bus lines that connect downtown Henderson with downtown Las Vegas can do so for free for the next 10 days.
The two new bus routes, the Henderson and Downtown Express and the Boulder Highway Express, began service Sept. 18.
The Regional Transportation Commission announced earlier this week that anyone with Nevada identification can ride the two routes for free from Friday to Oct. 31.
A normal bus fare is $2 for a single ride.
The Henderson and Downtown Express runs from Nevada State College in Henderson, stops on Water Street in downtown Henderson and then continues down Boulder Highway, making limited stops on its way to the Bonneville Transit Center in downtown Las Vegas.
