Las Vegas Sun sports reporters Ray Brewer and Case Keefer take a look around the Las Vegas high school football scene. They give their picks for the upcoming week and discuss the merits of eating orange wedges on long gameday road trips.

Donnie Gaskin rushed for 99 yards and three touchdowns on 19 carries Thursday to lead the Arbor View High football team to a 45-14 victory against visiting Cheyenne.
Arbor View took control defensively on Cheyenne’s first three offensive series, including a 45-yard interception return for a touchdown from Joey Comish. On the other two drives, Cheyenne was forced to punt after three plays, and Arbor View proceeded to drive down the field and score.
“We came out and everything just clicked in the first half,” Arbor View coach Dan Barnson said.
Quarterback Henry Hoffend completed four of five passes for 122 yards and had a 68-yard touchdown pass to Roderick Eason. He also rushed for a touchdown.
