U.S. 93 paving
Sun Coverage
Motorists traveling between Las Vegas and Phoenix on the Hoover Dam Bypass or Laughlin routes should expect some nighttime delays this week.
The Arizona Department of Transportation is repaving U.S. 93 through the Coyote Pass north of Kingman. This week’s work will be at the junction with State Route 68, which goes to Bullhead City, Ariz., and Laughlin.
Work on the ramps at the interchange will take place from 6 p.m. to 5 a.m. from Sunday to Wednesday, the department said.
Paving work is also under way on U.S. 93 in downtown Kingman nightly through Thursday.
And U.S. 93 will be repaved from the State Route 68 interchange to Ranch Road, near So-Hi Estates, at night from Oct. 9 to Oct. 18.
Motorists should expect to encounter detours and delays on U.S. 93 in these areas until the project is complete in November.
More information is available from the department’s website.
