A Las Vegas woman was among several people arrested Wednesday as part of a joint operation involving both Metro Police and Arizona authorities in cracking down on an alleged marijuana dispensary operation.

Authorities in both states served simultaneous search warrants at the Las Vegas and Tempe locations of a business called Yoki A M’a, police said. The search warrants were concerning the alleged illegal sale of marijuana at the two locations.

Nicole Marie Clemens, 30, was arrested by Metro Police on counts of selling marijuana and possession with the intent to sell at the Las Vegas location, police said.

Meanwhile, Arizona authorities arrested six people Wednesday after searching the business location in Tempe, officials said. The arrests capped a five-month investigation into the dispensary operations.

At about 10 a.m. today, Metro narcotics detectives and SWAT officers searched Yoki A M’a, located in the 800 block of East Sahara Avenue, where they said they found packaged marijuana for sale, police said. Police say Clemens is an employee of the Sahara Avenue location.

During the investigation, police were led to search a storage facility located in the 8000 block of Las Vegas Boulevard South, where authorities recovered several pounds of illegal drugs, police said.

The investigation remains ongoing, police said.
