Travelers between Las Vegas and northeastern parts of the state should now have better cell phone coverage, at least on one network.
AT&T has added four new mobile broadband cell sites along U.S. 93 between Las Vegas and Great Basin National Park, the carrier said.
“Our goal is for our customers to have an extraordinary experience. As part of the Nevada community, we’re always looking for new opportunities to provide enhanced coverage, and our investment in the local wireless network is just one way we’re accomplishing that,” Tammi Terrell, Las Vegas vice president and general manager, said in a statement.
A map with approximate coverage areas for the cell phone network is available on the company’s website.
