Motorcycle fatality
The Metro Police fatal unit responded to a motorcycle crash Wednesday evening that left one man dead in the northeast valley.
Police responded to a residential area at Judson Avenue and Sloan Lane at 6:23 p.m. after reports of a motorcycle and SUV accident, officials said. The motorcyclist was transported to University Medical Center and was pronounced dead, police said.
Metro officer William Redfairn said the SUV was traveling about 15 mph on Sloan Lane, and the motorcyclist was riding behind it.
Redfairn said the motorcyclist crashed into the SUV, went through a fence and landed in a nearby wash.
Three people in the SUV were uninjured.
The Clark County coroner will identify the man. Metro’s fatal unit was still investigating Wednesday night.
