Metro Police are seeking the public’s help in finding a mother and her five children who went missing over the weekend.
Nashana Islas, 29, was last seen Saturday in the area of Pecos and Bonanza roads. She was a passenger in a gray Honda car with a Nevada license plate. Islas had her five children, ranging from age 2 to 9, in the car with her.
Police believe Islas might be trying to get to Mexico to visit family.
Police describe Islas as Hispanic, 5-feet-5-inches tall and 200 pounds with brown eyes, black hair and a medium complexion.
Metro is asking anyone with information on the whereabouts of Islas and her children to call the department's Missing Persons Detail at 702-828-3111 or 702-828-2907.
