Fatal accident
The Clark County Coroner’s Office has identified the driver of a vehicle involved in a late Tuesday crash that killed two people east of downtown Las Vegas.
Gene Rochon Nave, 48, is a North Las Vegas resident, officials said.
Police said a 1990 Chrysler Fifth Avenue driven by Nave was traveling east on Oakey Boulevard when it left the roadway near Fremont Street and collided with a pole at about 11 p.m. Tuesday.
The crash killed Nave and a female passenger.
The coroner's office hasn't determined the cause of Nave’s death and hasn't released the name of the passenger.
