Signature Productions is bringing another classic musical to Summerlin Library this month: "Singing in the Rain," set to premiere today.

The non-profit community theater group will give weekly performances on Mondays, Thursday, Fridays and Saturdays at 7:30 p.m. through April 30. Admission on Mondays and Thursdays is $20 for adults or $25 on Fridays and Saturdays.

Tickets for children are $15, regardless of the day.

The original 1952 film, which chronicles Hollywood's transition from silent films to "talkies," is widely regarded as one of the best musicals of all-time, ranked by the American Film Institute as one of the 100 greatest American films.

Signature Productions, founded in 1989, usually produces two to three shows each year. Some of its recent selections include "Beauty and the Beast," "The King and I" and "Thoroughly Modern Millie."

The Summerlin library is located at 1771 Inner Circle Drive. For more information, call 702-878-7529.
