Metro Police are seeking the public’s help in identifying two men wanted in connection with an altercation that officials say contributed to the death of a Las Vegas man earlier this month.

Police today said Juan Marti-Guillen, 51, of Las Vegas, died March 17, several days after he was hospitalized with injuries consistent with blunt force trauma, police said. The exact cause and manner of death is pending, the Clark County Coroner’s Office said today.

Authorities said Marti-Guillen was found injured at 5 p.m. March 4 in the parking lot of Wells Fargo Bank, 791 N. Nellis Blvd.

Police said Marti-Guillen and a female acquaintance arrived at the bank parking lot in a red Chevrolet pickup truck with a white toolbox in the bed. The truck was parked in a handicapped parking spot in the northwest corner of the lot. As the woman entered the bank, a man began arguing with Marti-Guillen, police said.

The man is described by police as Hispanic, about 40 years old, standing between 5-foot-3-inches and 5-foot-6-inches tall and having a stocky build.

A second man, described as Hispanic and accompanied by two Chihuahua dogs, was also observed in the area, police said. Both men left the scene before police arrived.

Anyone with information is being asked to contact police at (702) 828-3521 or, to remain anonymous, contact Crime Stoppers at (702) 385-5555 or at www.crimestoppersofnv.com.
