President Barack Obama has caught a lot of flak for taking either a too aggressive or insufficiently aggressive stance in support of the rebels in Libya. Why can’t we support his more studied and deliberate approach?
Some members of Congress are complaining about the president not going to Congress for its opinion, but Congress has not been able to agree on anything since the Republicans gained a majority. In any event, the president has no intention of declaring war, which would be the only requirement for consulting Congress.
Let’s all just support the president in his humanitarian efforts.
