Valley Hospital has announced the completion of a $26 million expansion, which includes updates to its surgery and endoscopy centers.
Renovations and expansions at the hospital in recent years have included a 10-suite operating theater, new pre- and post-operative units, a three-suite endoscopy department and new waiting areas, hospital officials said in a news release.
Other changes at the hospital include a renovation of one of the medical/surgical nursing units and converting it into private patient rooms; also in the works are updates to the Center for Women's Services and the development of an inpatient rehabilitation unit for stroke and surgery patients.
Valley Hospital offers a variety of surgeries and is accredited by the American Institute of Minimally Invasive Surgery.
