It’s great to read and hear everyone talking about the education problem here, but when it comes time to “put up or shut up,” everyone shuts up.
Here’s a simple idea that no one will accept, especially the politicians: Impose a 1 percent personal income tax for education only.
It should be used for salaries, books and other educational purposes.
I’m retired, but would happily pay because this state will continue its downward spiral until all we have left are idiots and politicians (then again those two are interchangeable anyway).
