The Clark County coroner has identified a 28-year-old Utah woman killed Sunday in a crash on Interstate 15 near the Las Vegas Motor Speedway as Viridiana Larson.

Nevada Highway Patrol Trooper Joseph Fackrell said the accident happened at 1:08 a.m. when the northbound Dodge sport utility vehicle went off the road about seven miles north of the speedway and rolled, ejecting a man and Larson.

The man was taken by helicopter to University Medical Center's trauma unit in serious condition, officials said.

Larson, 28, from West Jordan, Utah, was pronounced dead at the scene, Fackrell said.

A baby and an 8-year-old in the vehicle weren't injured in the crash, officials said. The relationship among the occupants of the vehicle is unknown.

Troopers are investigating the cause of the accident.
