For those putting off their next haircut, Globe Salon in Soho Lofts is hoping a good cause will get them out the door. The salon is hosting a charity Cut-A-Thon from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday to raise money for the American Foundation for Children with AIDS.
Those interested are invited to walk in for a haircut at the salon, 900 Las Vegas Blvd. South, between those hours. Haircuts are $25, blowouts are $25 and chair massages are $10 -- and all the proceeds will go to the foundation.
The Slidin' Thru Slider Truck will be on site from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m., and recently opened Resnicks Grocery will be providing beverages and snacks at the salon.
