Metro Police investigate the deaths of an elderly couple in their home Thursday afternoon in the 3700 block of S. Nellis Boulevard.

Metro Police are investigating the suspicious deaths of an elderly couple discovered by their son Thursday afternoon in the eastern valley.

Police said the son found the husband and wife inside their mobile home at 3751 S. Nellis Boulevard shortly after noon when he stopped to check on his parents. That location is east of Boulder Highway near Twain Avenue.

KSNV-TV Channel 3 reports that police said the man died from natural causes but the cause of the woman's death was still unclear. The Clark County Coroner's Office was called to the scene.

Authorities said the woman was in her late 80s and the man was in his early 90s.
