Green-thumbed individuals are invited give their spring garden an extra boost with the selections available at the Spring Plant Sale this Saturday at the Acacia Demonstration Gardens in Henderson.
The sale, co-hosted by the Conservation District of Southern Nevada and the College of Southern Nevada, will be held from 8 a.m. to noon.
Plants native to Nevada, butterfly and hummingbird attractors, tortoise food plants, succulents, cactus garden dishes, along with other herbs and vegetables, are among the choices available. Experts will be available to answer questions and offer advice.
The Acacia Demonstration Gardens are located at 50 Casa Del Fuego St. For more information, call 702-267-4000.
