Blond beauty Holly Madison has joined the media mob that spends its time tracking stars just like her! VegasDeLuxe.com has learned exclusively that the reality TV star has signed a deal to be a full-time correspondent for the national syndicated entertainment news program Extra.
When the Peepshow headliner at Planet Hollywood arrives at tonight’s red carpet premiere for The Mechanic, which has taken over her Chi Theater for the night, she’ll actually be on the media side of the red rope working as a TV reporter and brushing shoulders alongside me.
She’ll interview action star Jason Statham, along with the other celebrities and VIPs attending the movie’s Las Vegas premiere. Holly’s report will air tomorrow ahead of the film opening nationwide Friday. Check back later today to VegasDeLuxe.com for our sneak preview of the action-packed remake of the 1972 Charles Bronson film.
Holly, who is dark on Wednesdays from Peepshow, told me: “I started a trial period a couple of weeks ago as a correspondent for Extra, and now it’s become full time. I shoot for Extra three times a week, and that’s great for Las Vegas, too.
“In addition to interviewing stars who are here for shows, parties and premieres, I’ll also get peoples’ reactions to different news items and topical gossip.
“I wasn’t just picked for being me. I had to try out and prove myself with several shoots over a two-week period before they hired me full time.”
Many of Holly’s segments will be shot in Extra Lounge at Planet Hollywood, where she held her screening party Sunday night for the Season 2 premiere of Holly’s World. The news of her new contract with Extra -- to be officially announced this week -- came on the heels of big ratings for her E! Entertainment reality TV show -- more than 2 million viewers.
“This is something I always dreamed of doing. I’m taking it very seriously, and I intend to beat you with your news,” she laughed with me. “I’ve always been a loyal Extra viewer, so this is great for everybody.”

Exactly what is this broad famous for? Sleeping with Hugh Hefner? Why the juvenile fascination with bimbos and sluts in the media? Is it the culmination of wet dreams the writers had in their youth? For garbage like this trees had to be cut down and ink wasted? UGH!
what could you possibly not like about holly...she is perfect to be an "extra" correspondent...i cant think of anything negative she has brought to las vegas...mindless entertainment like "extra" doesnt require a harvard mba...holly will do a great job! dont be a hater, just enjoy!
I give her credit...at least she goes out and finds jobs, where the other bimbo's sit home and live off "I was Hef's girlfriend"...
Give me a break HappyHomeowner. You act like you and the rest of working America have a lot in common with her.
She could retire now if she was smart with her money. You can't.
jerry: what's wrong with bimbos and sluts?
i read The Sun online. i don't think any ink was wasted (is ink in short supply or something?) or trees were cut down for me to do so.
i enjoy watching Holly, and hope she does a great job with EXTRA. seems like a pretty decent candidate, the more i think about it. EXTRA doesn't exactly require pulitzer prize winning journalists, does it?
She's deffinetaly entertaining. She can keep a person interested and she's very sincere.
she's hot, the more we see of her the better
And what do you want to do when you grow up, my little darling? 'I want to be a slut and sleep with whomever will advance my career without any effort, other than spreading my legs at every opportune.'
Gee, from all the mindless comments, it's no wonder the U.S. is getting dumber by the day and going down the tubes. "She's hot?" What? Is she on fire? And what good does it do you, smoke14? How about championing a little decency for a change?
