Liberal media were eager to tie tragedy to Palin

It certainly didn’t take long for the liberals to attempt to tie the tragic shooting of Rep. Gabrielle Giffords to the Republican and Tea parties. In less than six hours after the shooting, the MSNBC crowd was treated to a verbal diatribe from its pseudointellectual hero, Keith Olbermann, who all but demanded Sarah Palin be banned from politics because Mr. Olbermann (obviously a licensed psychologist with all the facts) instantly linked Ms. Palin’s “bull’s-eye” political ads as the rationale behind the shooter’s actions.

The Sunday liberal talk shows all but stated the same “fact” less than 24 hours after the shooting and before the alleged shooter has even given any rationale for his actions. Maybe his real motivation came from President Barack Obama’s 2008 speech in Philadelphia where he demonized the Republicans, saying, “If they bring a knife to the fight, we bring a gun.” That has just as much credibility as the Palin linkage.

Instead of merely admitting the shooter was perhaps just a deranged individual, I can just about bet that given a few more days the liberals will somehow blame the shooting on George W. Bush.
