Sunday Afternoon with the Cantors’ comes to Summerlin Library

Hadassah of Southern Nevada's musical group is offering "Sunday Afternoon with the Cantors" at the Summerlin Library on Sunday.

The concert will run from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. in the theater. Tickets are $18 in advance and $20 at the door.

Avraham Alpert, Philip Goldstein, Andres Kornworcel and Lola Riveria – all cantors, leaders within the Reformed Judaism movement -- will perform some of the religion's sacred songs as well as some cultural selections.

The group aims to "promote health awareness and provide personal enrichment and growth for its members," according to its website.
