For the cool crowd: Ghalib Ghallab, Las Vegas' self-proclaimed "King of Smooth Jazz," will grace the piano at the Freakin' Frog on Sunday. The "one night only" show starts at 8 p.m., and admission is free.

Ghallab, a native of Chicago, first came to Las Vegas in 1989, he said in a news release. His talents attracted a crowd that included Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin and James Brown. After making the valley his home, Ghallab formed the Ghalib Ghallab Experience, performing at a variety of Vegas venues.

His son, Jihad Ghallab, will join him on the drums with Rick Arroyo on percussion and Darren Motamedy on saxophone.

The Freaking Frog is located at 4700 S. Maryland Parkway, across from UNLV.
