This Labor Day Weekend, partygoers can experience a mini Electric Daisy Carnival with all the electronic dance music DJs who’ll be in town for club and pool events, plus the Identity music festival at Mandalay Bay. In addition to the EDM madness, an array of LDW events are offered, including comedians, concerts and Jersey Shore hosts.

When planning your party schedule, don’t forget to drop by Jet at the Mirage, as it will be closing its doors after the weekend for renovations -- it’s reopening as 1OAK on New Year’s Eve.

Thursday, Sept. 1:

ATB at Tao: The German DJ, musician and producer headlines at Worship Thursdays at the Venetian hotspot. Get an earful of his trance music to start your LDW.

An Evening With Amon Amarth at HOB: The House of Blues at Mandalay Bay presents An Evening With Amon Amarth, the Swedish death metal band who got their name from a J.R.R. Tolkien novel.

Skin Clothing hosts at Liquid: Skin Clothing hosts the day at Liquid Pool Lounge at Aria with giveaways and music from resident DJ Que and guest DJ Silver.

Art show featuring Juan Muniz: Caramel Lounge at the Bellagio welcomes local artist Juan Muniz as he unveils his latest works.

Manufactured Superstars at Tryst: The Wynn nightclub will launch the weekend celebration early at The Affair industry night with resident DJs Manufactured Superstars, best known for mashing up electro, progressive, house and pop music.

Beerfest: Greek Night at McFadden’s: All local and college ladies receive $1 drinks from 10 p.m. until close at the Rio bar. For everyone else, McFadden’s offers $20 endless Coors Light from 10 p.m. until close, $5 pitchers and $2 beer bongs and PBR cans. Sign-ups for the night’s beer pong tournament begin at 10 p.m., and anyone wearing their Greek letters or a toga will be entered into the beer pong tournament for free.

PBR Rock Bar’s first-anniversary party: PBR Rock Bar and Grill celebrates its first anniversary with Professional Bull Riders Luke Snyder and Douglas Duncan. The party is sponsored by Las Vegas Weekly, Las Vegas Magazine, Budweiser and Jack Daniels Tennessee Whiskey. Celebrate Jack Daniels’ 161st birthday with $3 Jack Daniels cocktails, including Tennessee Honey and Lynchburg Lemonade. The restaurant and bar offers $1 Budweiser drafts from 8 to 10 p.m. -- it’s 50 cents from 10 p.m. until close. A photo booth is available as part of the celebration.

Friday, Sept. 2:

Nelly at Chateau: It will be getting “Hot in Herre” at the Paris nightclub as the rapper and actor hosts.

Air Supply at the Orleans Showroom: The duo performs their classic hits and newer material.

Venus Rising at McFadden’s: Partygoers can sing their hearts out with live karaoke band Venus Rising, and an open bar is available from 10 p.m. until 1 a.m. at $20 for ladies and $30 for men. Drink specials also include a local ladies special for $1 drinks from 10 p.m. until close, $4 shots of Jameson and Ambhar and $5 cherry and grape bombs.

LDW drink specials at Cabo Wabo: Cabo Wabo Cantina at Miracle Mile Shops in Planet Hollywood celebrates with food and drink specials on the patio. Buckets of six Coors Light, Tecate, Dos Equis, Dos Equis Amber or Sol are $20, plus Cabo’s “3 T’s” -- a shot of Cabo Wabo Tequila, a taco and a Tecate, also $20.

Robert Randolph & The Family Band at Book & Stage: The Grammy-nominated band’s new album, We Walk This Road, continues the Sacred Steel tradition for which Randolph has earned wide praise. Catch them at three free concerts at the Cosmopolitan.

Patrick Stump at HRC: Fall Out Boy’s Patrick Stump performs at Hard Rock Cafe on The Strip along with Wynter Gordon and John West.

Ron White at the Mirage: Ron White, best known as the cigar-smoking, scotch-drinking funnyman from The Blue Collar Comedy tour, performs his stand-up comedy at the Terry Fator Theater.

Maryland Parkway Music Festival: This end-of-summer, back-to-school, multi-day event features music, art, poets, vendors, exhibits, demonstrations and more. The festival takes place along Maryland Parkway and the UNLV district. Performers include Frontier Ruckus, A Random Article, Bobby Conundrum, Tinglerz, DVIR, Thee Swank Bastards and more. Amanda Lepore at Krave: Amanda Lepore performs live and DJ Scotty Thomson from New York keeps the dance floor going in a guest appearance later in the evening.

The menu, at $49 per person, showcases French picnic-inspired classics with a modern Myers twist: artisan cheeses, charcuterie, fruit and country salads, potted rillettes and tartares, cumin-kissed carrots, grilled Provencal sausage, trout amandine, steak au poivre, pommes Lyonnaise, Earl Grey Madeleines with honey and lavender and crepes.
