Here’s what we know: Rapper Lil Jon and raspy rocker Meat Loaf are working together at the Studio in the Palms. Here’s what we don’t know: What exactly are they doing together? Nobody is sure, but Meat Loaf has said, “Jon is going to be a part of my live show in a very special way.”

The problem is we don’t know when and where that show will take place or whether it’s an extended tour or a one-time Las Vegas concert. We also don’t know why else Meat Loaf is in town -- this is his first time in George Maloof’s recording studio.

We have a photo from last night of Meat Loaf’s guitarist Paul Crook, who is the producer, Lil Jon and the Bat Out of Hell singer. It remains a guessing game until the live show is announced.

*Word has leaked out that one of country music’s top married couples will be in Las Vegas this weekend unannounced and performing in a top secret, private and exclusive concert for several high-rollers.

*The UFO articles by my pal Lee Speigel landed on AOL’s front pages with hundreds of thousands of hits. Now Lee has posted his follow-up story based on The History Channel UFO special that premiered last night and is airing several times over the next month. His revealing tale is certain to surprise as it details new UFO phenomena and examines a 65 percent increase in unexplained sightings.

*One of the busiest guys in television, my friend Mario Lopez, juggles an incredible workload now that the new season of America’s Best Dance Crew gets underway on MTV. He’s still the weekday host of Extra, the national mentor of the Boys & Girls Club of America, star of the VH1 reality TV show Saved By the Baby -- and now comes a new reality TV series for The CW he’ll host as celebrities confront their biggest haters. And Mario is here Oct. 8 for his birthday and Nov. 12 for fight night.

*An extraordinary new entertainment attraction is being installed at Circus Circus to open in October. It’s a salute to the legacy and creativity of Chuck Jones, one of animation’s pioneering director-producers, and the interactive exhibit will be titled The Chuck Jones Experience. Check out our colleague Steve Green’s story for Vegas Inc. for details.
