I hear so much about Republican “extremism,” but I never hear any explanations concerning what, exactly, is “extreme” about Republican views.
Eugene Robinson, in his Wednesday column, tries to give examples, but I can’t see the extremism of Gov. Rick Perry that he his trying to point out.
What’s so extreme about calling Social Security a “Ponzi scheme”? It is.
Can someone explain to me what is considered to be extreme?
Oh, wait, I know:
Democrat: “I believe that (insert opinion here).”
Republican: “Well, I disagree with you.”
Democrat: “You extremist!”
And there you have it.
