Richard Linstrom is associate dean/managing director of the UNLV Singapore campus.

Linstrom will take over for Interim Head of Campus Jonathan Galaviz, who replaced the campus’ founding dean Andy Nazarechuk upon his resignation July 1. The Singapore campus is self-supporting and part of the Harrah’s Hotel College.

Aaron Ford is a member of the Nevada Council to Establish Academic StandardsFord is a partner in the Las Vegas office of Snell & Willmer. He practices in complex commercial litigation, focusing on business, real estate and contract disputes, and has experience in school and public law. Ford has a master’s degree from George Washington University and a master’s and PhD in educational administration from Ohio State University. He also spent three years teaching junior high school and high school math.

Chris Lexis and Joe Leavitt were promoted to vice president for Lee & Associates. Both have been with Lee & Associates since 2004.

Krista Darnold and Andrea Jimenez are co-directors of corporate partnerships for the Smith Center for the Performing Arts. Darnold is for primary partnership development efforts and Jimenez is responsible for execution and servicing of partnership programs. Darnold was director of development for an international design studio based in Las Vegas. Jimenez worked in marketing and advertising with a major Las Vegas gaming property for the past five years.

Bruce Johnson is an associate with Ballard Spahr in the real estate department. He is also a member of the firm’s distressed real estate initiative. Johnson represents lenders and developers in real estate and commercial secured lending transactions, loan workouts, and non-judicial foreclosure proceedings. He also represents landlords and tenants in negotiating commercial leases and workouts. Johnson is a graduate of Brigham Young University J. Reuben Clark Law School. Johnson received his bachelor’s degree from Westminster College.

Bryce Earl is president; Doug Waggoner is president-elect, Shannon Hiller is past president; Dawson White is director of programs; Milas Howe is treasurer; Ken Craig is director of publicity and public relations; Tracy Smith is director of membership; Rod Streets is chapter webmaster; Brent Leavitt is director of networking; Rick Trout is director of placement; Mark Cordner is alumni associations liaison; and Phil Richards is advisory board liaison of the Las Vegas BYU Management Society.

Louis Gonzalez III is relationship manager for City National Bank. Gonzalez is responsible for developing and managing new and existing client relationships for the bank’s North Las Vegas Cheyenne branch through referrals and calling efforts. Gonzalez was senior vice president and commercial real estate financing officer for Bank of Las Vegas. Gonzalez is a UNLV graduate.
