If Republicans in Congress are so angry about banks and Wall Street firms getting bailout money from taxpayers, why won’t they increase their taxes? This group is a large percentage of the top 2 percent of our population that controls much of our country’s private wealth.
The government has no wealth, only debt. How can we change this situation? Since the government’s only source of income is taxes, I logically conclude that taxes must be raised on the wealthiest 2 percent of our population.
