Metro Police today are asking for help in finding a man who robbed a bank Wednesday afternoon.
Police responded about 2:55 p.m. after a man walked into the bank in the 3000 block of West Russell Road and sat at a teller’s desk and said he wanted to make a withdrawal. The man told the teller he didn't have an account and handed the teller a note demanding money, indicating he had a gun.
The teller complied and the man was last seen running southbound.
He was described as white, with curly blond hair and between the ages of 20 and 25. He was 5-feet-10-inches tall and about 300 pounds, wearing a black shirt with a skull image, blue shorts and white shoes.
Anyone with information is being asked to call Metro's Robbery Section at 702-828-3591 or Crime Stoppers at 702-385-5555.
