The cotton candy puff is essential to this furry libation.
Playboy Bunnies have been serving cocktails since 1960, when Hugh Hefner opened the first Playboy Club in Chicago. With the inception of the pop culture icon came a set of Bunny terms: the Bunny perch, the Bunny dip and, of course, the Bunny tail. That furry costume accessory just became Palms’ Playboy Club’s signature libation—a sweet and sour mix sure to have you Bunny-hopping in no time!
The Bunny Tail
1 mini .50-liter bottle of Ketel One, Ketel Citroen or Don Julio Blanco
1 375-ml bottle of San Pellegrino Limonata soda
.5 oz Limoncello
1 lemon wedge
1 cotton candy puff
Ice
Method: Pour Limoncello and squeeze lemon wedge into a large snifter. Fill the glass with ice and put the straw in. Place the cotton candy puff to rest on top of the glass. Serve with the mini bottle of either Ketel or Don Julio Blanco and the San Pellegrino, pouring the bottles, one after the other, onto the cotton candy to melt it. Finally, stir, sip and enjoy.
Playboy Club You’ll never make it to the Playboy Mansion. Sorry. But you can gawk at bunnies right here in Vegas and play a few hands of black jack while you’re at it. Located in the aptly named Fantasy Tower at the Palms, Playboy Club combines all of Vegas’ guilty pleasures into a cozy, impeccably adorned suite of rooms. Beautiful women outfitted in Roberto Cavalli-designed bunny suits deal cards under Baccarat crystal chandeliers by décor guru Phillipe Starck. A glimmering bar built out of 10,000 diamond-shaped crystals beckons visitors to come down a martini or two, and the updated men’s club atmosphere pays homage to Hef and his logo at every turn. Even the bathrooms have gotten a scandalous makeover, with collage wallpaper featuring every centerfold from the last 25 years. Just remember: This club isn’t for the faint of wallet. If you want to party like the original playboy, you’d better arrive well funded. 4321 West Flamingo Rd. Las Vegas,
