Metro Police seek help identifying robbery suspect

Metro Police are seeking the public’s help in identifying a man who allegedly robbed a small business east of Spring Valley and threatened a victim at the business.

At 10:03 p.m. on Sunday, April 3, the victim was cleaning up the building at Decatur Boulevard and Hacienda Avenue when a man rang the doorbell, police said.

As the victim opened the door, the man grabbed the victim by the throat, demanded money and forced the victim to the back room, police said. Once the suspect got the money, he fled the business in a silver 4-door car with a spoiler, police said.

The suspect is described as white, between 5 feet 8 inches and 5 feet 11 inches tall, and 200 to 225 pounds. He has brown hair and was last seen wearing a dark sweatshirt with black shorts and prescription glasses.
