Once again, commentators are trotting out the old class-warfare, liberal canard about evil greedy corporations not paying their fair share of taxes. It makes commentators feel good about themselves to fight for the little guy.
But a little lesson in economics would teach them and their ilk that no matter what the politicians may have you believe, corporations pay no taxes. They just charge more for their products and pass the “taxes” along to us.
It’s just one of the thousands of hidden taxes that government sticks us with every day. Also, every government regulation that costs the corporation money gets passed right on to us.
Politicians love it when people call for more corporate taxes. It means they get to hit you up again and you don’t even realize it.
