A 15-year-old Las Vegas girl who died in a fiery, rollover accident early Sunday that killed three people has been identified as Rocio Celaya, the Clark County Coroner's Office said today.

Nevada Highway Patrol officials said the single-vehicle accident occurred about 3 a.m. on State Route 147 at mile marker 40 in a desert area near Pabco Road east of the Las Vegas Valley.

Sergio Diaz, 20, of North Las Vegas, and Omar Jimenez, 18, of Las Vegas, also died at the scene. Two other occupants — 18-year-old Eliza Cortez and another 15-year-old girl — were taken to University Medical Center's trauma unit with injuries not believed to be life-threatening.

NHP troopers believe alcohol and speed might have been factors in the accident, but the investigation is ongoing. None of the passengers were wearing seatbelts, officials said.

The white Chevrolet Suburban was traveling west on State Route 147 when it drove off the road, overturned and burst into flames, officials said.

The crash ejected three passengers, while two others were unable to escape when the Suburban burst into flames, officials said.

Clark County School District officials said Celaya was a sophomore at Basic High School in Henderson. Jimenez was a former CCSD student who attended Las Vegas High School in 2009, officials said.
