A nonprofit resale shop in the central valley will host its first “Second Sunday” event between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. April 10.
Dinosaurs and Roses, 6029 W. Charleston Blvd., is a thrift and art store that supports various Las Vegas charities. Owner Michele Morgan hopes her “Second Sunday” event – featuring food, a bounce house for children, a raffle and artwork by local artists – will become a monthly occurrence.
It’s an idea modeled after the popular “First Friday” art gathering in Downtown Las Vegas, she added.
“It’s something that brings the arts together for a few hours,” Morgan said in a November interview.
