Preschool plans eastern valley location

Thursday, Sept. 9, 2010 | midnight

Planned preschool

A new Nevada Community Learning Center – known in the valley for its Three Key Years preschool program – is planning a location in the eastern Las Vegas Valley.

The Clark County Planning Commission on Tuesday approved the center’s plans to convert a Winchester office building into a daycare/preschool facility.

The proposed plan calls for no exterior changes to the 4,500-square-foot office building, located on the northwest corner of Desert Inn Road and Pecos Road. The non-profit organization is planning to create three classrooms, a reception area, library, and a storage room in the office complex.

The application now goes to the Clark County Commission for a final vote.
