Extremism of Angle’s views again on display

Despite the recent efforts of her handlers to “soften” her image in advance of November’s general election, a recent report — that Republican Senate nominee Sharron Angle agreed with a radio talk-show host that there are “domestic enemies” of the United States serving in Congress — demonstrates exactly how out of touch she is with most Nevadans.
While these incendiary comments may play with the tin foil-hat crowd, they do nothing to allay concerns of average Nevadans that she is — however her handlers try to repackage her — far too extreme to represent this state in the U.S. Senate.
Whatever Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid’s shortcomings, no one can seriously question his commitment to the state or his role in ensuring that Nevadans are heard and represented in Washington. If the goal is to antagonize through partisanship, Angle is your candidate. If the goal is a better Nevada, Harry Reid is your only possible vote.

Harry Reid has been in the drivers seat for 24 years in Nevada. He cashed in on all the good years. As soon as the going gets tough he rolls a 7. He is not the man for the job anymore. He finds himself in the precarious position of being Obama's gofer. He isn't looking out for Nevada anymore, he's looking out for Obama.
It's the Obama, Reid, Pelosi economy now. They are responsible for what happens on their watch.
Two years ago, Harry Reid hitched his wagon to the young political rock star and forgeot about Nevada.

Hmm, wasn't it Nancy Pelosi who wanted American citizens "investigated" for speaking out against the mosque in NYC? I bet this letter writer A-OK with that.
It all boils down to the fact that when a politician resorts to violence as the only course of action rather than as a last resort to achieve ends, then that candidate is useless to me.
Also, when a politician wishes to perform actions like getting rid of Social Security (that was her first stand...and still is) and wanting to keep Yucca Mountain Project alive, then that candidate is totally useless to me.
Sharron Angle is unmarketable. She's toast in November.
My vote goes for Senator Reid. Because he has shown in word and action that he is capable of representing the best interests of Nevada.
And I am very sure the Sanity Party voters here in Nevada outnumber by a vast margin the Tea Party voters and will vote that way too.
Iran's biggest problems were the Taliban in Afghanistan (opposed to their sect of Islam) and Saddam's Iraq. Bush reduced or eliminated them as a threat to Iran. Therefore, Bush is an enemy of America.
There are 57 enemies of America in Congress and they are all Republican.
What is most puzzling about the Reid/Angle race is that Harry Reid has been a big part of Las Vegas politics for over 30 years. He was thrust into national politics a a few years ago when the Dems took over the Senate (2007). Being the Senate Majority Leader is a big job. After all that he finds himself tied in the polls with a little known politician that is as smooth as carborundum when it comes to delivering a line in a speech. Easily misunderstood even by her supporters, she exasperates her detractors because they all realize she can win this thing. I fully expect her to win this Senate seat and she will probably serve as well as Barack Obama did when he was a freshman Senator from Illinois.

This letter writer forgets that Senator Reid is supposed to represent the majority of Nevadans. Healthcare proved beyond a shadow of a doubt that Senator Reid does not represent the majority.
Crazy Angle will go down in US political history as the biggest nut to run for major office. And no one is even a close second.

It's not surprising that Angle's views are extreme. Just take a look at the views of the two billionaires who fund the Tea Party:
The billionaire Koch brothers, who own the second largest private corporation in America. They hope to deregulate as much of American industry as possible through their Tea Party movement, funding for the Cato Institute, etc. They also hope to squash the EPA and destroy all science that supports global warming, because they will save more money that way. Rupert Murdoch pretty much single-handedly created the "mosque at Ground Zero" story. The Koch brothers do the rest. A nice couple of fellas:

Angle is presently blowing her wad of cash in hopes that she can stay close to Reid in the polls and get more RNC support. She knows that she will be toast if she can't keep the polls close. Unfortunately for her (and fortunately for Nevadans) the truth about her rediculous and radical positions on everything from Social Security to Katrina is coming out and she won't be able to keep her head above water.

In a recent Washington Post poll, Sharron Angle was voted the worst new Republican candidate for the Senate - by a huge margin. She has become the laughingstock of this political season and the whole country. If you don't believe it, read something other than the RJ. If you vote for her, and she wins, the reputation of Nevada will be tainted for the next six years. Can't be good for our economy.

"The war is lost" - The same exact thing was said, recently by Michael Steele, Head of the RNC, about the war in Afghanistan.
"Amnesty" - Bush and a Republican Congress proposed an amnesty bill, and a "guest worker" program during their reign.
"Patriot Act" - Supported and signed into law by none other than George W. Bush.
Are these men "enemies of America?" Will you no longer vote Republican because of these people? Of course not, you're too partisan for that. If you're going to tell a story, at least TRY to tell both sides of the story, and not just the story that you want to put out.

Redlining - The banking practice of accepting deposits from a certain class of people, or geographic area, while being unwilling to loan to those same people.
Explain to me how a bank taking deposits from people, and not loaning that money back out is good for that area, or our economy as a whole. If these folks are such "bad customers" then why is the bank willing to take their money in the first place?
The Fannie/Freddie reform of 2005, that you keep posting about, was passed in the House and killed in the Senate because it lacked support from both sides of the aisle. Including from your beloved President Bush.
