Adding insult to injury, robocall-style

Tuesday, Oct. 26, 2010 | 2:01 a.m.

So what are the consequences of calling people in the middle of the night and telling them to vote for a ballot question to appoint judges? Besides a lot of angry people who were awakened from a sound sleep by a wrongly timed robocall, could this be the nail in the coffin? I hope not. But do the proponents really think an apology robocall will salve the wounds? A robocall to negate a robocall at a time people hate robocalls? I don’t think so. But at least the advocates have a ready-made excuse if the question goes down.
