flash point:
All the ‘fun’ is about to end, but not right away
Monday, Oct. 25, 2010 | 2:01 a.m.
It’s hard to believe only one week remains in Campaign '10. I find myself feeling bittersweet — sorry all the "fun" is about to end and thrilled that all the "fun" is about to end. There has been nothing in the past 25 years — if ever — in this state that will match the intensity of the U.S. Senate race. Never has a race been so fascinating, so filled with serpentine turns, so filled with craziness. And never has there been this much uncertainty in an important race, one that could determine control of the Senate and the Democratic leader in the Club of 100. We have seen a lot of crazy stuff happen in the last year. And something tells me, with a week left, we may see one or two more memorable things.

Interesting that Harry Reid wants to stay in the "club."
Sharron Angle doesn't want to join the "club," she wants to join the fight to restore limited government.
fear not Jon. The Presidential race will start Nov 3 at 12:01 AM

Right. Unless you're a newly-impregnated teenager who was raped by a relative. Unless you're a gay or lesbian trying to adopt a child (or marry). Unless the government proposed to "limit" or eliminate her husband's federal pension and benefits.
She's a hypocrite and a clown.

That statement is what it is all about and the Democrats know it.
Harry Reid wants to be re-elected only for himself.
Sharron Angle wants to be elected to represent Nevada.
If Obama runs again there will be plenty of fun starting up, especially if Palin is in the mix.
Personally, I'd love to see Hillary make a run at him, but she and Bill are loyal party members. :( The best I can hope for is Hillary to replace Biden on the ticket. (And that is probably the only way Obama can feel really secure about 2012.)
If Christie gets involved then Obama will be in for a real fight, even he goes with Hillary. I don't think any other GOP hopeful at this point could offer as much of a challenge.
Larryvegas, "Sharron Angles wants to represent Nevada" REALLY??? She runs from the press and to this day, I haven't heard her say one time HOW she plans to implement her "ideas. You know why she plays "Hide and seek" with the press? BECAUSE SHE HAS NO IDEAS! NO CLUE!
Exactly Alex2 - never heard one concrete idea EVER. Just dittohead talking points...

Like the way Bush let the banks do what they wanted with little regulation? See those forclosure signs all around the valley? 1+1=2.
