ANAHEIM, Calif. — More than an estimated 2,000 people showed up for a subdued weigh-in session on Friday, leading up to the UFC's most loaded fight card in 2010.

A few of the small highlights included ...

— Tom Lawlor always has a flair for the dramatic when it comes to entrances, and did so wearing a mask, prompting UFC color commentator to ask into the microphone: "Is that an Art Jimmerson mask?" The assumption was probably right, as Lawlor came out wearing one red boxing glove. Jimmerson wore one glove while competing at UFC 1.

— Tito Ortiz removed his T-shirt before hitting the scale only to unveil another shirt, this one black, reading "Dana Is My Hero!" That, of course, was referencing UFC president Dana White. Ortiz was greeted with a mix of cheers and boos.

— The loudest cheers from a crowd with several hispanic fans came for challenger Cain Velasquez, who will meet Brock Lesnar in the main event with the UFC heavyweight belt on the line. Though he was born and raised in the U.S., Velasquez saw several Mexican flags among the spectators when looking out from the stage. Lesnar entered the scale facing a heavy flow of boos.

UFC 158
Nick Diaz fails to back up years worth of talk

UFC 158 A welterweight title fight that felt incredibly different wound up remarkably the same. Georges St. Pierre manhandled nemesis Nick Diaz with his wrestling. St. Pierre won every round on every judges' scorecard in Montreal for his sixth straight unanimous-decision victory. Diaz had preached his superiority over St. Pierre for years, but when he finally got his chance, he looked as helpless as all the other challengers to the 170-pound division's throne in the last six years. St. Pierre's consistency continued to amaze. Now it's on to Johny Hendricks, who defeated Carlos Condit in the evening's co-main event. Could he be the one to finally threaten St. Pierre?
