The City of North Las Vegas, along with Regency Centers, is hosting a Halloween community event and health fair Saturday, complete with a costume contest for kids and pets.
The event will be held from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. at Deer Springs Town Center parking lot, at the northeast corner of Deer Springs Way and North 5th Street. Participants can explore a pumpkin patch, get their faces painted, and jump in a bounce house, officials said.
The event is also an expo where people can get flu vaccinations – there are 200 available – and health information, city officials said.
The event is also meant to help patrons and business owners network, officials said. It is part of a series of business resource expos designed to help get more area residents to patronize local businesses.
