Metro Police are seeking the public’s help in finding a man involved in a Sept. 27 robbery.

Police say a man and woman entered a business about 9 p.m. near the intersection of Maryland Parkway and Twain Avenue. The man picked up merchandise and tried to exit the store, police said.

When guards approached him, police said the man slammed the guard to the ground and left the store.

The suspect was described as a black man who is 20-25 years old, 5-feet-9-inches tall and 190 pounds, and has a tattoo on his left forearm, police said. Police didn’t know which way he ran after the incident.

Anyone with information is being asked to call the Metro's robbery section at 828-3591 or Crime Stoppers at 385-5555.
