House fire
A Henderson house fire caused about $60,000 in damage Friday morning. No one was injured.
The fire department responded at 3:13 a.m. to 511 Chandler St. in the Green Valley area near the intersection of Sunset Road and Whitney Ranch Drive. Crews arrived at the home within six minutes of the call, officials said.
Fire officials said someone was sleeping in the home at the time of the fire and was awoken by fire detectors. Firefighters also rescued the family’s cat.
The cause of the fire, which was contained in a bedroom and hallway, was determined to be accidental, investigators said.
