flash point:
Reid-Angle race attracting worldwide attention
Wednesday, Oct. 13, 2010 | 2:01 a.m.
I have never, in 25 years covering politics, seen this much extra-Nevada attention on a state race. Sure, there was much focus on the state during the early presidential caucus two years ago. But the Harry Reid-Sharron Angle race has attracted interest far and wide — not just D.C. types but European media and a station from Australia have called in recent weeks to do stories on the contest. And many of them say the same thing: How come neither candidate wants to release a schedules or be interviewed? Speaking for the Nevada media, we feel your pain.

What's to talk about? You could load every undecided voter in Nevada into a mini-van and take them to IHOP for breakfast.
If Sue Lowden had won the nomination, she and her chickens would be leading in the polls by a solid ten points. Now, the Republican Party "wins" by electing someone who will refuse to work with them, or anyone else. Pathetic.
If people look beyond Angle's crazy notions about how life should be in her twisted world and should actually get elected, the REAL Republican party,...not the tea bagger version of the Republican cult will have her for lunch rendering her completely inneffective.
She's a retread with weird ideas that go against the grain of the old party GOP. Should she survive the election, she'll never survive the job.
The best bet is to hold your nose and vote for Harry Reid if for no other reason than to keep any form of Republican life out. Any American voting Republican this time (or any time in the future) is setting themselves up for more financial heartache when the party finishes what Bush and Cheney didn't, and that very easily could mean living in a doorway, under a bridge, in a large appliance box and dining from a dumpster.
Thats what the Republicans have in store for the 98% of Americans who aren't members of their 2% country club. Its all about the money with the GOP, NEVER the people.
Harry Reid in my opinion deserves to lose to Sharron Angle even though I think that Angle is extreme because Reid literally tried to rig the 2008 Democratic primary in Obama's favor from behind the scenes about like how WWE wrestling matches are rigged from behind the scenes. I did a 23 minute Podcast interview credibly documenting this claim:

"Not So Wild About Harry: We speak to Political Analyst Mitch Dworkin on Sen. Harry Reid, and his overlooked involvement in the 2008 Democratic Presidential Nomination of then Senator Barack Obama."
Harry Reid also played the race card when he made his decision to pick Obama to run for President and when he tried to rig the primary in his favor:

Reid apologizes for 'Negro dialect' comment
Posted: January 9th, 2010 04:45 PM ET
From CNN Senior Political Editor Mark Preston
"He (Reid) was wowed by Obama's oratorical gifts and believed that the country was ready to embrace a black presidential candidate, especially one such as Obama - a 'light-skinned' African American 'with no Negro dialect, unless he wanted to have one,' as he said privately. Reid was convinced, in fact, that Obama's race would help him more than hurt him in a bid for the Democratic nomination..."
So while I disagree with nearly everything that Sharron Angle is running on and while I consider her to be extreme, I still think that she would be the lesser of two evils in the Senate when compared to Harry Reid because Angle will probably never be anything more than 1 out of 100 Senate votes if she wins after all of the stupid things that she has said. In order for Angle to do anything that she wants, she would need 66 other Senators and two-thirds of the House to agree with her in order to override the veto of a Democratic President while she would need 59 other Senators (to break a Democratic filibuster) and a majority of the House to agree with her if there is a Republican President in office. Harry Reid as the Senate Majority Leader has already violated our trust in the past, he can easily do it again in the future, his poor judgment of picking Obama to run for President when Obama was not ready was an insane decision on his part, and his being a weak majority leader in my opinion shows that Reid would be the greater of two evils in the Senate when compared to Sharron Angle!

Objective Political Research & Analysis
If Sharron Angle wins with all her extreme conservative views, we have to ask ourselves why we voted that way.
She is against abortion even in cases of rape and incest. Her answer is you can change a lemon into lemonade. She is against social security and wants to gradually get rid of it or privatize it. She is against Medicare or any Government controlled health plan and yet she is covered on her husbands government health plan. She is against giving unemployment benefits and says that people who are out of work are just lazy. She has said that in some small cities in our country, they are practicing Sharia Law. This is not true. It is just to frighten people about Muslims. Many of the Tea Party candidates are against a minimum wage. Think about how that will affect people. Before you vote, please think of these
very extreme views.
