The Clark County School District celebrated the opening of a new resource aiming to make parental engagement easier.
The Women’s Leadership Council Family Engagement Resource Center is the first of five centers planned for the county. The new resource center is located at Sunrise Mountain High School, 2575 N. Los Feliz St.
School district officials joined volunteers from the United Way and the Women’s Leadership Council for the center’s grand opening ceremony Thursday morning.
The resource center will be an area on campus where parents can access computer resources and district information. The resource center was constructed with funds from a five-year grant from the United Way’s Women’s Leadership Council.
