Metro Police responded to a complaint Monday night from a security guard who reported he was battered by boxer Floyd Mayweather Jr.

Police said Mayweather and the private security guard at Mayweather's Southern Highlands home were involved in a parking dispute at about 6 p.m.

Police responded and knocked on the door of Mayweather’s home, but the boxer wouldn't talk to police, authorities said. Mayweather wasn't arrested.

Metro will submit a report to the district attorney, police said, and Mayweather could be charged with misdemeanor battery.

Celebrity gossip website TMZ reported the boxer allegedly poked the security guard in the face.

  1. Imagine that.

  2. Mr. Mayweather seems intent on imploding his life in some way or ending up behind bars.

  3. If he really wants a quick ticket to Palookaville, he oughta fight Pacquiao.

  4. he better get that fight with Pacquiao soon ...he will be in prison in a year......really the world would not miss you floyd...your worth as a person is almost zero no matter what your bank leger says

  5. If Mr. Mayweather is convicted of any of the numerous charges filed on him in the last year the state should consider taking away his license to fight in the state of Nevada. Time to make an example of him.

The man seems to have a problem with his temper and social interaction.

  6. It looks like money and fame have gone to his head and humility and gratitude for his talent and abilities are non existent.

  7. Floyd keeps his money in a bank? I doubt that Rocco. The guy carries cash around in a bag.

  8. vegaslee - that is a horrible idea. Regardless of how much I, or many other Nevadans, dislike Mayweather. Taking away his license to fight in Nevada is foolish. We've already lost enough fights and revenue for the state to Jerry Jones and Texas stadium.
