Metro Police responded to a complaint Monday night from a security guard who reported he was battered by boxer Floyd Mayweather Jr.
Police said Mayweather and the private security guard at Mayweather's Southern Highlands home were involved in a parking dispute at about 6 p.m.
Police responded and knocked on the door of Mayweather’s home, but the boxer wouldn't talk to police, authorities said. Mayweather wasn't arrested.
Metro will submit a report to the district attorney, police said, and Mayweather could be charged with misdemeanor battery.
Celebrity gossip website TMZ reported the boxer allegedly poked the security guard in the face.
