Police released this image of a man wanted in a bank robbery.
Investigators believe a man who robbed a bank last month struck again on Wednesday.
Metro Police said a man robbed a bank at 10:55 a.m. Wednesday in the area of Eastern and Tropicana avenues. Police say the man approached a teller and handed over a note demanding money. The teller complied and the man left the scene.
Police say the same man is suspected in a bank robbery that occurred April 6 in the area of Maryland Parkway and Flamingo Road. In that case, the man approached the teller and passed a note demanding money while simulating gun, police said.
The teller complied, then the man put the money in a duffel bag and left the bank.
Police weren't identifying either bank that was robbed.
The robber was described as white and in his 40s, 5-feet-10-inches tall and 200 pounds with a brown, hooded sweatshirt, gray pants and wire-rim tinted glasses.
Police are asking anyone with information about the robber to call the Metro Police Robbery Section at (702) 828-3591 or Crime Stoppers at (702) 385-5555.

amazing that a man in a hooded sweatshirt and sun glasses in line at a bank didn't get noticed by the tellers or security.
Aren't those teller windows bulletproof glass? If not, they should be. Then the teller can safely deny the request and call the cops unless they are afraid of the spurned would-be robber taking hostages. If that is the case, a flashing lighted display board above the teller but out of view of the robber could then warn patrons in the bank to vacate immediately but in an orderly manner not drawing attention to the robber while the teller is pretending to fulfill the request. In the meantime, the cops arrive.
There has got to be a better way to apprehend these criminals than just let them go on their merry way and hope for the best.

The windows in the photo is bullit proof glass. I too am surprised that the tellers or security were not more aware of a man wearing a hootie and sun glasses in line. The WMA is about 6 ft and weights about 190 to 220 pounds, he either is wearing a tank top or low cut t-shirt. I think he possibly lives in the neighborhood of Flamingo to Tropicana and Maryland and Eastern.
Metro can't run this fat ass's pic through their high-tech computer program and identify him? I guess the good citizens of LV will have to "find and identify" him!
