Collision
An 8-year-old boy was struck by a car in Boulder City on Monday night after running a stop sign on his bicycle, police said Tuesday.
Authorities said the boy ran the stop sign at 7th Street and collided with a car traveling southbound on Avenue K just before 7:30 p.m. Monday. The boy was airlifted to University Medical Center, where is he being treated for his injuries. His condition is unknown.
The accident is under investigation by the Boulder City Police Department Traffic Bureau.
