Terra Verde offers Wined Up Fridays

Drink up and drink well. Wined Up Fridays kicked off last week at Terra Verde inside the Green Valley Ranch and is a sure-fire way to get your weekend started with class.

For $20 from 5-7 p.m. on Fridays, guests can imbibe on all they can drink featured wines, such as Ste. Michelle Winery throughout May, or Distant Bay, Santa Cristina by Piero Antinori, Erath Vineyards, Tomaresca and Hawk Crest throughout the summer.

"The idea behind it is a guest can sit on the patio, enjoy food and drink — and possibly drink an entire bottle of wine while mingling!" says corporate wine director Peter Donkonics.

Appetizers are all-you-can-eat as well during the event. Caprese skewers, meatball sliders, crispy ravioli, garlic fries and cheese-and-fruit trays are some of the fare for sampling. Donkonics adds that Wined Up Fridays is the only wine happy hour in Green Valley, as well.

If the featured wine selections only tickle your taste buds, consider returning to Terra Verde and checking out their extensive wine selection via an Enomatic wine system that puts wine on tap and extends its shelf life from about five days up to 30.

"The fun thing about Enomatic system is you can take wines from all over the world that people would never have a chance to taste," says Donkonics.

Rechargeable cards allow guests to spend as little or as much as they like while sampling wines in three different size pours.
