Downtown streets reopened after suspicious item reported

Metro Police have reopened roads near the intersection of East Ogden Avenue and North Fourth Street after an investigate into suspicious item found this afternoon.

Metro spokeswoman Officer Barbara Morgan said police received a call at noon that a suspicious item was on Fourth Street at the location near Interstate 515 in downtown Las Vegas.

Officers shut down westbound lanes of Ogden from Las Vegas Boulevard to Casino Center Drive and northbound lanes on Fourth from Carson Avenue to Stewart Avenue. Those roads have since been reopened.
